Sally Marchand Project Manager

Sal­ly joined the Learn­Sphere team in July 2023 as a Project Man­ag­er and is respon­si­ble for all the fund­ing pro­grams under the Pro­gram Admin­is­tra­tion line of busi­ness. Pri­or to join­ing Learn­Sphere, Sal­ly was a Pro­gram Man­ag­er for a small non-prof­it orga­ni­za­tion that devel­oped and deliv­ered Sci­ence, Tech­nol­o­gy, Engi­neer­ing, and Math (STEM) pro­gram­ming to girls, and orga­nized pro­fes­sion­al devel­op­ment and net­work­ing oppor­tu­ni­ties for women and oth­er equi­ty-deserv­ing groups in STEM.

Sal­ly holds a Bach­e­lor of Sci­ence degree with a Major in Biol­o­gy and dou­ble minors in Chem­istry and Math­e­mat­ics, as well as a Bach­e­lor of Edu­ca­tion, both from Mount Saint Vin­cent Uni­ver­si­ty. She also com­plet­ed a Cer­tifi­cate in Learn­ing Design from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Toronto.

In her spare time Sal­ly enjoys relax­ing with a good book, hik­ing, curl­ing, and play­ing board games with friends and family. 

Lit­tle known fact about Sally:

She grew up in rur­al Cape Bre­ton and took step danc­ing lessons for many years, she will often kick up her heels wher­ev­er a good fid­dle tune is being played.
