This initiative supports small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in the tourism sector in making strategic investments to improve experiences, accommodations, operations and revenues, and attract highly engaged visitors to Atlantic Canada.
Please note: This pilot program is only open to tourism operators in Atlantic Canada who have been referred to the program. For more information see step one, below.
Eligible applicants could include:
- An accommodator who needs direction on how to add a spa to their existing offering
- A resort in a destination/cluster that wants to enhance its culinary offering and needs advice on infusing higher quality, local products into its expansion plans
- New owners of a dated property who need advice on prioritizing investments
- An experience provider who needs ideas on how to develop new locally focused, regenerative experiences
- An accommodator who needs help understanding the needs and expectations of high-value visitors

Assessment and recommendations
A comprehensive evaluation will identify your best opportunities for growth. This will be supported by a detailed action plan to help you implement the recommendations.
Step Two
Access to funding
Financial assistance is available to hire the expertise needed to execute the recommendations from the action plan.
