Built for This
Pressure can change how people think, communicate and make decisions. Even capable people can find it harder to use what they know when the moment gets tense.
Built for This helps people understand what happens inside them under pressure and practice a steadier response. Participants learn to notice their reactions, shift how they see a challenging moment and choose a response that helps them move forward.
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Recognize how pressure can affect their thoughts, emotions and actions.
- Identify a personal response pattern that shows up under pressure.
- Practise a way to steady themselves in a challenging moment.
- Choose a useful next step when pressure makes it harder to think clearly or communicate well.
Navigational Conversations™
Leaders do not need to have every answer. They need conversations that help people think, make decisions and take ownership. But when leaders solve every problem or avoid a hard conversation, the team can get stuck waiting for direction.
Navigational Conversations™: Helping Leaders Guide, Not Just Direct helps leaders shift from telling to coaching. Participants practice listening, asking useful questions and giving positive and corrective feedback. They use a clear coaching framework to work through real leadership situations and plan how to use these skills in their day-to-day conversations.
By the end of this workshop series, participants will be able to:
- Recognize when a coaching conversation may help someone think through a challenge.
- Use listening and questions to support a more useful conversation.
- Give positive and corrective feedback with clarity.
- Practice a coaching conversation based on a real leadership situation.
Emotional Intelligence for Leaders
You can teach every leadership strategy in the world. But when pressure rises, it can be harder to read the room, manage your response or navigate a difficult conversation.
Emotional Intelligence for Leaders builds the awareness and people skills that help leaders use what they know when the moment gets hard. Using EQ-i 2.0® concepts, participants explore how emotions shape decisions, communication and trust. They apply the learning to real situations at work.
By the end of this series, participants will be able to:
- Identify how emotions can affect leadership decisions and conversations.
- Recognize a pattern in how they respond under pressure.
- Practice useful ways to listen and respond in difficult conversations.
- Apply emotional intelligence skills to build trust and connection at work.
Understanding Each Other
People can have good intentions and still misunderstand each other. Different ways of thinking, communicating and approaching work can create friction, especially when pressure rises. When people understand those differences, they can work with them more effectively.
Understanding Each Other helps people recognize their own style and better understand the people they work with. Using Personality Dimensions®, participants explore how different styles can affect communication and teamwork. They practice ways to communicate across differences and identify how to build trust and work well together.
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Describe their own work and communication style.
- Recognize how differences in style can lead to misunderstanding.
- Practice adapting their communication when working with different styles.
- Identify one way to strengthen trust and teamwork.
