He has worked with 100s of nonprofits — large and small, rural and urban, in all sectors ‒ throughout North America and abroad. He can help his clients work through the full enterprise development process — from assessing readiness, to defining goals, identifying and validating opportunities, business modelling and planning, securing financing, managing implementation, and beyond. Andy is a skilled facilitator and trainer, with certificates from Acadia University and Holland College, and he has extensive experience with peer-to-peer learning. As a volunteer, Andy currently serves as the vice-chair of the Social Enterprise Council of Canada, is a founding director of the Social Enterprise Network of Nova Scotia, and served as the chair of the Centre for Local Prosperity. When he’s not doing consulting and training, Andy works with his partner SJ on their permaculture homestead in beautiful Kempt Shore, Nova Scotia.
