Amy Harrison is the Founder & Force of Pixels & Pieces Design. She is a graphic and web designer from Halifax, Nova Scotia with over 20 years of experience. She holds a graphic design diploma, a BA (English) from Acadia University, as well as a Masters of Science in Publishing from PACE University in New York. She completed the CEED Entrepreneurship Program and is qualified Project Management Professional (PMP). Amy’s why is to empower others so that we see opportunity’. Her DIY friendly approach helps her clients gain confidence and see their potential. The intersection of neurodiversity, creativity, and practicality offer Amy’s clients a unique experience. After spending time working in traditional environments like large government and academic institutions, she has cultivated her ideal lifestyle as an entrepreneur. Make Your Social Media Shine

This four week sprint focuses on teaching professional graphic design skills specifically applied to social media platformsParticipants learn to move beyond generic templates to create high-quality, "on-brand" visual communication.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Identify required social media post types and choose the best templates in Canva.
  • Apply advanced graphic design concepts including: readability, hierarchy, balance, and symmetry.
  • Select and edit photos that align perfectly with an established brand style.


This workshop is for you if you are an entrepreneur who wants to level up your online presence and create content that "stops the scroll".

In order to benefit, you must have prior Canva experience and a solid brand foundation (established brand guidelines).

Build Your Brand Architecture

Stop guessing how your new products, services, or flavours fit together under your brand. In this two-part workshop you will learn how to organize your business offerings into a clear, scalable structure—whether you are managing multiple flavours or a complex family of products.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Distinguish between different brand architecture models, such as Branded House, House of Brands or Sub-branding.
  • Determine which architecture model best supports your specific business.
  • Develop a deployment plan to apply their chosen approach across various product lines, flavors, or scents so that visual consistency is maintained.


One hour of coaching is available upon completion.

This workshop is for you if you are launching a new product line, flavour/scent, or if you are feeling like your various offerings currently look like a "messy family" rather than a cohesive brand.

In order to benefit you must have a clear understanding of your "Parent Brand" (core visual identity) and a list of current or future products/services you need to organize.
