Laura Maynard Senior Project Manager
Over her decade plus with LearnSphere, Laura has launched and led many of our flagship programs such as Training for the Non-Profit Sector (TNPS), and Commercialization Consulting & Mentoring (CCM). Always keen for a new adventure and challenge, she opened our Halifax office in 2015 as our base for exploring new opportunities in Atlantic Canada.
Drawing upon her extensive project management and stakeholder engagement skills, Laura has most recently led our Supply Chain 1−2−3 program which saw us take our learning and development solutions to Quebec and British Columbia for the first time.
She has a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Francis Xavier University, with a joint-honours in Business and Economics. In her spare time Laura enjoys giving back to her local and global community by volunteering for the Run for the Cure, and UNICEF Canada.
Laura enjoys building community and a sense of belonging. When not working or volunteering you’ll find her at the curling rink, sailing in the harbour or out for a run with her husband James.
Little known fact about Laura:
Having grown up on a dairy farm in rural PEI, she could at one point give a cow a show-worthy haircut. Just don’t ask her to replicate those results on a non-bovine form.
