This workshop introduces participants to the key sources of conflict and how it can be prevented from escalating and effectively resolved using interest-based skills and processes. Through interactive presentations, group discussions, case studies and skills practice, participants will come away with a better understanding of:

  • How conflicts arise and how to prevent escalation
  • Conflict dynamics and impact on the organization and its people
  • Procedural and structural conflict versus interpersonal conflict
  • Conflict resolution skills and interest-based processes including negotiation, mediation and facilitation
