Michelle Alcorn is an award-win­ning moti­vat­ed busi­ness strate­gist, coach, best sell­ing author, chef and con­nec­tor she the proud Founder of R&R Solu­tion over 10 years ago and Pres­i­dent & CEO of Atlantic Cana­da Lan­guage Acad­e­my in Lunen­burg Nova Sco­tia. She also serves as the Pres­i­dent of the Albert Coun­ty Cham­ber of com­merce, sits on the Edu­ca­tion and Train­ing Com­mit­tee for the Monc­ton North East Con­struc­tion Asso­ci­a­tion, hosts a pod cast Peo­ple Plan Con­nect, pro­duces and hosts a week­ly glob­al cook­ing club on line Atlantic Cana­da Cooks all proud­ly con­nect­ing peo­ple from all over the world with oppor­tu­ni­ties in Atlantic Cana­da and Glob­al­ly. After many suc­cess­ful years liv­ing in Toron­to lead­ing Nation­al sales and oper­a­tions teams across Cana­da with Amer­i­can Eagle Out­fit­ters, Pearle Vision and Sears Opti­cal she moved home to New Brunswick where she shift­ed her career and spent 5 years work­ing for a large recruit­ment agency on local and inter­na­tion­al recruit­ment. In 2010 her life as an entre­pre­neur began. When Michelle found­ed R&R Solu­tion, it was to con­tin­ue to work with indi­vid­u­als and com­pa­nies to reach their goals by recruit­ing and retain­ing the right peo­ple. The R&R team devel­ops Recruit­ment and Reten­tion solu­tions that peo­ple can imple­ment to get the results they are look­ing for. As a leader, Cer­ti­fied Coach and recruiter she has inter­viewed thou­sands of peo­ple help­ing them start new careers, she sees that each person’s inter­ests, back­ground, moti­va­tions, desires, and work style are dif­fer­ent. These strengths allow her to work indi­vid­u­al­ly with peo­ple and com­pa­nies to make sol­id hir­ing deci­sions, lead teams and devel­op pro­grams to engage peo­ple to deliv­er results that mat­ter. It is Michelle’s pas­sion for con­nect­ing peo­ple and help­ing oth­ers suc­ceed which makes her a remark­able indi­vid­ual with a depth of knowl­edge on human dynam­ics and inter­con­nec­tion.
