Lori-Ann Cyr
Lori-Ann Cyr is CEO and Co-founder of Diversis Inc., a consulting firm specializing in cultural diversity and immigration management. As an instructor and project manager, she notably taught at American universities in the field of multicultural education, trained groups of young international interns and assisted several governments as well as private and public organizations in the realm of management of immigration and cultural diversity. Lori-Ann has traveled on business to over 25 different countries. She has been involved in immigration for over 20 years. Over the years, she has specialized in economic immigration, the regionalization of immigration, Francophone immigration in a minority setting and in providing intercultural training. In 2005, Lori-Ann was selected as one of the 21 Young Leaders for the 21st Century in New Brunswick and was recognized as one of the five most progressive entrepreneurs in Atlantic Canada by the business magazine Progrès. In 2011, her company Diversis received the Innovation Award from the Government of New Brunswick. In 2012, she was awarded the title of “Woman Entrepreneur of the Year” in her region. Lori-Ann is a mother of two and stepmother of four. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in education and a Master of Arts in Teaching French from the University of Maine. Additionally, she is an immigration consultant recognized by the College of Canadian Immigration and Citizenship Consultants of Canada and is a founding member of 21inc., sitting on various committees within her community, including the University of Maine Board of Visitors at Fort Kent. She also chaired the Conseil Économique du Nouveau-Brunswick (CÉNB) and sat on the Board of Governors of the Université de Moncton.
