Program for Indigenous businesses focused on the Oil & Gas sector

 

Supply Chain 1-2-3: Oil & Gas

Participants in this Supply Chain 1-2-3 program will learn about the Oil & Gas sector, the opportunities to sell into it, and how to ready their businesses to successfully be part of a complex supply chain. They will gain the knowledge, skills and tools needed to help their businesses compete. 

When: March 1st to 6th, 2020

Where: Ramada St. John’s, Newfoundland & Labrador

Cost: Free to attend. Stipends to support travel and accommodation costs are available.*

ENGAGING WORKSHOPS & A MEET THE BUYER EVENT

Over 4.5 days of training with expert facilitators participants will gain knowledge and tools in: 

• Purchasing process and life cycle within the sector 

• Positioning to align capacity with opportunity 

• Safety regulations 

• Bid preparation  

• Partnership considerations 

Meet the Buyer Event: 

Participants will put their knowledge and skills to use on the final day, learning from companies successfully selling into the sector, gaining information on government departments and agencies offering support, and networking with buyers within the supply chain. 

Follow-up One-on-One Consulting 

Following the program, participants can take advantage of up to 12 hours of consulting to help apply their new skills and knowledge to their business. Consulting will take place by phone, email or video conference.

**Stipends to support travel and accommodation costs will be provided at the end of the program. They will be based on where attendee travelled from, and prorated based on participation.
