Program for Indigenous businesses focussed on the Oil & Gas sector
Supply Chain 1-2-3: Oil & Gas. Registration is now open to Indigenous businesses from Atlantic Canada.
Participate in Supply Chain 1-2-3 and learn about the Oil & Gas sector, the opportunities to sell into it, and how to ready your business to successfully be part of a complex supply chain. Gain the knowledge, skills and tools you need to help your business compete.
When: March 1st to 6th, 2020*
Where: Ramada St. John’s, Newfoundland & Labrador**
Cost: Free to attend. The only commitment is your time. Stipends to support travel and accommodation costs are available. ***
ENGAGING WORKSHOPS & A MEET THE BUYER EVENT
Over 4.5 days of training with expert facilitators you will gain knowledge and tools in:
• Sector's purchasing process and life cycle
• Positioning to align capacity with opportunity
• Safety regulations
• Bid preparation
• Partnership considerations
Meet the Buyer Event:
Put your knowledge and skill to use on our final day where you can learn from companies successfully selling into the sector, gain information on government departments and agencies offering support, and network with buyers within the supply chain.
Follow-up One-on-One Consulting
Post-program you can take advantage of up to 12 hours of consulting to help apply your new skills and knowledge to your business. Consulting will take place by phone, email or video conference.
*March 1st - noon to 4pm. March 2nd to 6th - 9am to 3 pm per day, with optional evening networking opportunities. Detailed schedule will be shared with the registered participants once released.
**A block of hotel rooms is being held at the Ramada under the name LearnSphere. Book your room under that name to access a preferred rate.
***Stipends to support travel and accommodation costs will be provided at the end of the program. They will be based on where attendee travelled from and prorated based on participation. Snacks and lunch will be provided each day as part of the program.
