Supply Chain 1-2-3: “Immediately implementable learnings”
Stepscan Technologies Inc is an innovative company based in Charlottetown, PEI. Their main product, branded Stepscan, is a pressure sensitive electronic floor tile system, combined with a software that analyzes mobility and balance. It’s used for medical research, clinical rehabilitation, physiotherapy, and sports performance.
Because of applications within the defense sector, including gait biometrics, training exercises and virtual simulations, Stepscan participated in our Supply Chain 1-2-3 program for the Ocean Technology and Defense sector in 2018.
This is what they said about their experience.
As a young and growing company, we had just finished a development project with a large US client and needed a strong debrief process. The consultant we accessed through Supply Chain 1-2-3 facilitated a project debrief with the engineering team and developed a ‘best practices’ summary for us to implement in our next project. He was very insightful, and shared industry best practices around estimating project time, implementing contingency reserves, and legitimate buffers for high-risk tasks. Everything we learned was very relevant and immediately implementable – Crystal Trevors, CEO and Owner, Stepscan
