Introducing Our eCommerce Masterclass
Digitization is one of the main challenges, if not the biggest one, currently facing Atlantic SMEs.
While the global health crisis is creating major disruptions for many SMEs, it may also be paving the way for digital transformation. Businesses are now forced to consider incorporating digital options into their operations to cope with closures, restricted movement and interruptions in supply.
Consumers have very quickly shifted their buying habits to online, and many will not go back to traditional shopping. SMEs stand to benefit dramatically from acquiring and using new technologies, in particular eCommerce. This will not only allow them to survive through this challenging time but will afford them new opportunities to participate in the global economy.
In response to this challenge, the Nova Scotia Association of Community Business Development Corporations (NSACBDC), supported by the Government of Canada and the four Atlantic Provinces, issued a Request for Proposals through the Atlantic Canada Trade and Investment Growth Agreement for the development and delivery of a cohort-based learning program for Atlantic Canadian SMEs. And LearnSphere answered the call.
Together with our newest Associate, Second Spring Digital, LearnSphere is rolling out a Pan-Atlantic eCommerce Masterclass. This online series is helping SMEs acquire the knowledge, skills and support to develop and implement their own eCommerce roadmap, laying out a clear plan for immediate action to build long-term success. Round One of this series of 10 online sessions started November 16. Recruitment for Round Two has already begun, and sessions will start early in 2021.
LearnSphere is delighted and inspired to be a part of this program, as we recognize the competitiveness of our Pan-Atlantic SMEs hinge on their ability to shift their thinking and adopt new technologies.
The engaging content, practical tools and customized coaching support provided in this program will help SMEs unlock the benefits of digital tools, improving their competitiveness and productivity. The program will help them endure these challenging times in order to thrive, grow and innovate.
