Part 1 — Get ready for importing 

Learn how to get an import/​export num­ber, iden­ti­fy a shipper/​exporter, clas­si­fy your goods, cal­cu­late duties, and under­stand how an import bro­ker can help you in the import­ing process. 

Part 2 – Under­stand the Import­ing Process 

Fed­er­al law spec­i­fies how you must iden­ti­fy, secure, and release import­ed goods into Cana­da. You’ll get step-by-step guid­ance on the doc­u­men­ta­tion and cal­cu­la­tions required, as well as links to prac­ti­cal resources such as offi­cial doc­u­ments, con­tact organizations.
