A native of Saint John, Greg obtained his BBA from UNB in 1979 and was immediately employed by the CA firm Ernst & Young where he excelled at providing client services as a staff consultant. While on a client assignment in Boston in 1984, Greg accepted the position of Chief Financial Officer of the US operations of Connors Bros. Inc. He returned to New Brunswick in 1986 to become the CFO of the Arrow Group of Companies, based in Fredericton. Together with his partners from Arrow, Greg founded Brunswick Micro Systems Inc. in 1988. In succeeding 10 years Brunswick Micro grew to more than 70 employees and $30 million in sales. In 1998 Greg sold the company to GE Capital. Greg continues to be an active entrepreneur whose investments have included Enbridge Gas NB, CrossOff Inc., CompuLearn, DineAid.com, Pixel Factory, DSM Communications, and Harley Mallory. In 1995 he founded BrunNet Inc., which became the largest privately-owned New Brunswick ISP and continues to operate as a VAR to business and government clients.
He was member of the Board and Chair of the Audit Committee for Crossoff Inc. (TSE OFF) and the Chalmers Hospital Foundation, served several years as President of the Fredericton Playhouse Inc., and is a former board member of the Fredericton Chamber of Commerce. Greg has served as the New Brunswick Managing Director/COO of the regional law firm Cox & Palmer since 2000.
He resides in Fredericton with his wife Ann and five children.
