Dave Ferguson Treasurer

David Fer­gu­son served for 39 years in the New Brunswick pub­lic ser­vice, with more than 16 years as deputy min­is­ter. He was named deputy min­is­ter of advanced edu­ca­tion and labour in 1994. He served as deputy min­is­ter at the Office of the Solic­i­tor Gen­er­al from 1998 to 2000; as deputy min­is­ter at the for­mer depart­ment of nat­ur­al resources and ener­gy from 2000 to 2003; and as deputy min­is­ter at the Depart­ment of Nat­ur­al Resources from 2003 to 2007. He served as clerk of the exec­u­tive coun­cil and sec­re­tary to cab­i­net from 2007 to 2010. He retired in Decem­ber 2010.
